Veneer is real wood, but it’s not solid wood. It’s a thin layer of wood that’s been sliced or peeled from a log and applied to a surface, over the MDF or plywood.The veneer layer is very thin and is used to give the appearance of solid wood.
The majority of the structure is made from solid Oak, but has a veneer layer of oak on the surface for aesthetic reasons. This approach combines the benefits of both solid wood and veneer: the durability and authenticity of solid wood in the structure and the beautiful finish of veneer on top.
